Job Description
Plante Moran is seeking a passionate and experienced AI Engineer to join their award-winning technology services team. This role is central to developing advanced AI models and solutions that address real-world business challenges. The position includes collaboration with software engineers, solution architects, and data engineers to implement scalable, efficient AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop Generative AI models using advanced ML frameworks like PyTorch and Scikit-Learn and platforms like Azure AI.
- Design and integrate AI models into existing systems or develop new AI/ML applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Innovation Lab, to identify opportunities for AI solutions.
- Deploy AI models to cloud environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement MLOps practices to ensure seamless AI model integration, performance, and scalability.
- Build and automate end-to-end AI pipelines using tools such as Git and CI/CD processes.
- Explore cutting-edge AI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and chain-of-thought models.
- Ensure AI systems comply with ethical guidelines, emphasizing fairness, transparency, and privacy.
- Continuously monitor and enhance AI system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of IT or related engineering experience.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- 3+ years of experience in ML modeling and statistical programming.
- Experience with RAG technologies, LLM frameworks (LangChain, Claude, LlamaIndex), and embedding models.
- Expertise in AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch and Scikit-Learn.
- Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices.
- Proven ability to deploy and optimize ML models at scale.
