Job Description
Guild Mortgage seeks an AI Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge artificial intelligence systems. Essential Functions
- Source and process data from diverse channels for AI training.
- Develop machine learning models to solve business challenges.
- Validate and test AI models for accuracy, reliability, and robustness.
- Integrate AI models into applications using APIs or embedded code.
- Optimize AI systems for speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Identify and resolve issues in AI models and integrations.
- Stay updated on AI advancements, particularly in NLP, computer vision, and neural networks.
- Collaborate with teams to align AI projects with business goals.
- Provide documentation, performance analysis, and stakeholder feedback integration for AI systems.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring fairness, privacy, and transparency in AI development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, with additional experience in Java, R, or Scala.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and AI principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying AI in production environments.
- Familiarity with advanced AI techniques like few-shot learning or meta-learning.
- Open-source contributions or relevant publications in AI.
Supervision and Scope
- Work independently under broad direction while adhering to professional standards and desired outcomes.
- Provide ideas and insights to improve policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Additional Requirements
- Sedentary office work with occasional standing or walking.
- Proficient use of computer and audio/visual equipment.
- Travel: 5% or less.
